Self-bonding tape (amalgamating tape) is intended for insulation and sealing of the signal wire connections of the pipeline. Initially the tape is non-sticky, but during installation it becomes adhesive. Proper placement and installation of the tape ensures a secure layer thats resistant to freshwater and seawater.
